Hola! It was my 22nd birthday recently, and staring at this mini mountain-sized pile of cosmetic products that I was gifted (mostly by my amazing boyfriend and on behalf of my little boy. He obviously knows me only too well!), reminded me of my absolute obsession with beauty, my previous blog and my love for blogging! I had totted up a few hundred visitors after just 3 months, which I was particularly proud of, but after finding out I was pregnant, I deleted the blog to concentrate on much more important prior engagements taking place within my life, despite it being a huge passion of mine at the time. After my most recent obsession with watching and reading some of my favourite vlogs and blogs, my love for the online beauty community was rekindled, which has also inspired me to create another blog - Sherrell Beauty.
My life has been fuelled by new happenings recently, including the birth of my son, T.J, and next month we are due to move into our new home in Derby, so that I can attend university there to study creative therapies. I thought this was the perfect time to incorporate a new (or just reignited) hobby into my 'new life', I guess, as blogging is certainly one of those past times I have missed an awful amount.
It's probably only appropriate I introduce myself, so, a bit about me: My name is Joanne. As I already mentioned, I am 22 years old, I am a Mom to a 6 month old boy called Trystan-James and I'm due to move to Derby to study a BA Hons in Creative Expressive Therapies in Music there. I'm a recording artist and songwriter (although I haven't done much of that in quite a while) I (obviously) have an obsession with beauty products, more specifically make up and skincare. I like weird shoes, pretty dresses, collars and I'm quite partial to a game of scrabble or two ;) Throughtout the course of this blog, I suppose you'll get the opportunity to get to know me a little better, so for now I'll keep it relatively short and sweet. I'll be updating regularly with new purchases/ hauls, products reviews and the likes.
